Danny Lewis, Owner of Officiant Danny in Asheville

Hello, I'm Danny

I am your Asheville-area officiant, an ordained Non-Denominational Minister and Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant whose passion is writing and officiating ceremonies. “Non-denominational” means that I create and officiate ceremonies that reflect your beliefs, traditions, philosophies and style, without imposing my own beliefs. Each ceremony I produce becomes a unique, life-affirming reflection of the person or persons being celebrated, whether it be a wedding, vow renewal, funeral,  celebration of life, personal rite of passage, life transition or important personal milestone.

As a celebrant, I am a ceremony specialist with college-level training from the Celebrant Foundation & Institute where I was richly schooled in the art of ritual, story-telling and ceremony. My work as a celebrant and officiant is supported by a degree in psychology from UCLA and more than two decades in training, education and professional public speaking in both the corporate and non-profit sectors.

My commitment is to create and officiate a ceremony that

becomes a treasured experience for you and your guests!

Reasons to consider working with me:

  • Formally trained in the art of ritual, story-telling and ceremony.

  • Gifted public speaker with a reputation for engaging audiences from diverse cultural backgrounds and ages.

  • Skilled in creating and holding sacred ceremonial space.

  • I give you complete editorial approval over the ceremony I produce. I am committed to your satisfaction!

All My Best,
